General
I keep hearing you're in "Beta", what does this mean?
We have launched our servers and started accepting customers on a limited basis in January, 2008.
However, we are still in "Beta" mode. What this means to you is several things:
1. Your service will be significantly cheaper than retail prices for similar service. (unless you're one of our special beta testers, in which case your service is FREE)
2. While incoming and outgoing calls should already be working perfectly for most users, we do find the occasional bug here and there. Please be patient while we weed those out, and get to a stable production mode.
3. We DO NOT supply you with access to E911 while in beta. You and all other users - whether paying or not - are considered to be part of our beta testing team, and MUST ensure you have separate means to contact emergency services. You absolutely cannot sign up with us if you don't have alternate access to 911.
4. We continously work to improved the site and improve our processes, we strive to get into production ASAP and therefore things are in high gear over here. You will see (good!) changes daily.
5. Some features we plan on offering still do not work. Basic calling and receiving calls does work very well. If there is a feature you are looking for specifically we will most likely be able to provision it to you individually within 24 hours of your request. If we cannot accommodate, we will tell you why, and if and when we expect to be able to do so.
Beta or not, for those users who have chosen to give us a try, thank you so much, and I hope you find our services rewarding!
